Enjoy a range of ski and snowboard activities at Ski Cooper in Leadville. With a vertical lift of 1,200 ft, this ski area has a summit of 11,200 ft, making it one of America's highest elevated hills. Not only are there 400 acres of lift serviced runs, but avid skiers and snowboarders can take to the backcountry's 2,400 acre Snowcat served areas. Ski school is offered for all levels and ages of clients, including disabled skiers by appointment. A lodge with a restaurant, a nursery and a retail shop is found on-site, as well as a rental shop.
