Advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders can take to the challenging terrain above Ski Cooper in Leadville with Chicago Ridge Snowcat Tours, as they provide backcountry adventures from mid-December until early April. Clients are taken up 12,600 ft in elevation and ski down vertical drops of 1,400 ft per run. The trips last from 9am to 3:30pm and those attending should be prepared for changing weather conditions.
